Business Order Comes From Time

In the foreign trade industry, the deeper you delve, the clearer it becomes: orders never come out of thin air; they are built step by step through meticulous cultivation.
After years of experience in foreign trade, I've come to understand that the core of a successful transaction lies not in the goods, but in the people. Here are a few insights from my experience, offered to every colleague striving in the foreign trade field:

1. Orders are built through conversation: Don't push products, talk about needs.
When I first started in foreign trade, I always liked to argue with clients about product parameters, prices, and scale, but often the conversation ended there.
Later I learned that expert salespeople never rush to sell; instead, they discuss the client's pain points. Put yourself in the client's shoes, ask about their market challenges, sales concerns, profit margins, and after-sales worries. Learn to listen, ask questions, and empathize, addressing their concerns one by one.
2. Trust is built through follow-up: Follow-up is an attitude, not harassment.
Many people mistakenly believe that follow-up means constantly chasing orders. What we're following isn't the order progress, but our attitude towards doing things. True follow-up is rhythmic, warm, and valuable: When a client hesitates, provide real-world case studies to give them confidence; when a client is conflicted, outline the best solution to help them make a decision; when a client is silent, never frequently bother them; when a client has a need, respond immediately without delay.
III. Success is built on perseverance: perseverance is about patience, not time.
There are no shortcuts in foreign trade. Outstanding performance is all achieved through perseverance, but this perseverance is not aimless wasting time, but rather patient and unwavering.
Enduring countless blunt rejections leads to the first trial order; controlling the quality and service of each trial order ensures stable repeat orders; weathering trust crises in cooperation secures loyal long-term clients.
IV. The final sale depends on people: reliability is paramount.
Prices can be negotiated, delivery dates can be coordinated, product issues can be corrected, but reliability can never be replaced.
Clients travel the world, encounter all kinds of salespeople, compare countless suppliers, and ultimately choose the most reliable and trustworthy one. We keep our promises, never exaggerate product advantages, never mislead customers into placing orders, and never shirk responsibility or evade accountability when problems arise.
Foreign trade is about mutual respect and trust. The more sincere you are, the more trust your customers will place in you. May every partner who perseveres on the path of foreign trade earn trust, steadily build wealth, and achieve lasting success!
