Installation steps of quartz countertops

1. Check the installation site

Before installation, you must do a good job of inspection, carefully check the flatness of the cabinets and floor cabinets, and check whether there is no error between the dimensions of the countertop and the site. If there is an error, adjust it in time. Don't start installing at the beginning , Wait until the later stage to find the size error, which wasted the energy spent in the front.

2. Leave a seam

When measuring the depth of the cabinet, a gap of 3-5mm should be reserved between the countertop and the wall. The main purpose of the gap is to prevent the expansion of the back surface and the cabinet from expansion and contraction. At the same time, don’t forget to make the gap.

3. Install the sink

When installing the sink, the quartz stone countertop and the water barrier on the countertop should be partially trimmed in advance, and then tapped to check whether it is suspended. For small suspensions in some places, you can add some glass glue to the back and bottom of the stone.

4. Splicing countertops

When splicing some extra-long countertops (such as L-shaped countertops), in order to ensure the flatness of the spliced countertops and the rigidity of the joints, it is recommended to use strong fixing clips (A clip, F clip) to the quartz stone slab.

5. Deal with gaps

After the installation of the countertop is completed, the gap should be dealt with. The treatment of the gap cannot be ignored. In order to make the installation effect better, you can use a strong glass clamp to clamp the squeeze gap on the tabletop. In addition, you must clean up the gaps and do not leave some dirt to affect future use.

6. Waterproof treatment

Since water is often used in daily cooking, waterproof work must be done. In this step, you can evenly apply some coloring glue on the bottom of the water retaining strip of the cabinet to stick the water retaining strips together one by one. Do not recommend colloids such as marble glue.
